get_knowledge_entry
Read one Knowledge entry with its text — the answer, or the document's words as the Copilot reads them.
Read one thing a project taught Subscriby Copilot, text included: the answer to a question, or a document's text as it was read out of the file or sent in, headings kept for a Markdown document. This is the only read that carries the body; list_knowledge_entries leaves it out so a project's whole Knowledge can be paged cheaply.
The entry is looked up inside the project named in the call. An entry of another project is
RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND, the same as an unknown id, so an agent learns nothing about a project it was
not given.
Requires ability
The token behind the MCP session must hold it, or the call is refused with TOKEN_MISSING_ABILITY.
Runs the same action as
The REST endpoint and this tool share one action, so validation, permissions and events are identical.
Annotations
It reads and never changes anything.

A failed document carries the reason in failure and an empty index: the Copilot is handed nothing from it until the entry is updated with text it can read.
How it fails
RESOURCE_NOT_FOUNDproject_id names a project the token cannot see, or knowledge_entry_id is unknown or belongs to another project.
AUTHENTICATION_REQUIREDno authenticated user on the request.
TOKEN_MISSING_ABILITYtoken lacks project-knowledge:view.
