Passes Addon

Unlock Time-Limited Passes on Free or Starter for $19 / mo or $190 / yr — prices, worked examples, and exactly what happens when you add, remove or change plan.

The Passes Addon unlocks Time-Limited Passes — plans that sell access to a scheduled window rather than by the month — on the plans that do not already include it.

UnlocksTime-Limited Passes
Monthly price$19 USD per month
Annual price$190 USD per year
Available onFree (monthly only), Starter (monthly or annual)
Not sold onGrowth — it already includes passes

Growth already includes passes

If you are on Growth, there is nothing to buy: Time-Limited Passes is part of the plan. Subscriby refuses the purchase rather than charging you for something you already have.

For the general rules — how addons are billed, added and removed — see Addons. This page covers what is specific to passes.

Which price you pay

The addon follows your plan's billing cycle, so the price depends on the plan you are on:

Your planBilling cycleAddon price
FreeMonthly only$19 / mo
Starter monthlyMonthly$19 / mo
Starter annualAnnual$190 / yr
GrowthEitherIncluded — nothing to buy

Free is monthly-only

There is no annual Free plan, so on Free the addon is always $19 / mo. The annual price becomes available once you are on an annual Starter plan.

What paying annually saves you

The annual discount on a plan and on the addon are not the same size, so they are worth seeing side by side:

Monthly × 12Annual priceYou save
Starter plan$468$390$78 — 2 months free
Growth plan$1,068$890$178 — 2 months free
Passes Addon$228$190$38 — two months free

Both are worth taking if you are staying the year. Just do not read the addon's annual price as the same 2-months-free deal the plans give you — it is a smaller reduction.

Adding it

Add it from Billing → Plans, in the Addons section. It takes effect immediately, and you are charged only for the days left in your current billing period. As soon as the payment succeeds you can create pass plans — in the dashboard, the Telegram bot, the REST API and MCP alike.

Example: adding mid-month

You are on Starter monthly ($39), billed on the 1st. On 15 September you add the addon.

Days left in the billing period16 of 30
Charged today$19 × 16/30 = $10.13
Your invoice on 1 October$39 + $19 = $58.00

Example: adding to an annual plan

You are on Starter annual ($390), renewing 1 March. On 1 September you add the addon, with six months left to run.

Charged today$190 × 6/12 = $95.00
Your invoice on 1 March$390 + $190 = $580.00

Removing it

Removing takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, with no refund. Passes keep working until that date, then stop.

Example: removing mid-month

You are on Starter monthly with the addon, billed on the 1st, and you remove it on 10 September.

Refunded todayNothing
Passes keep working until30 September, the end of the paid month
Your invoice on 1 October$39.00 — no addon line

You cannot remove it while you are still selling passes

Subscriby will not let you drop the Passes Addon while you have subscription plans with passes switched on. Those plans are promises your own customers have paid into, and taking passes away underneath them would break windows people have already bought.

The message tells you how many plans are involved. Any of these clears it:

  • Turn passes off on those plans. Prefer disabling a plan to deleting it — new sales stop, while windows people already bought still go ahead.
  • Wait for the remaining windows to finish, then remove the addon.
  • Cancel those plans outright, if you have genuinely retired them.

Windows people already bought always go ahead

Whichever route you take, windows your customers have already paid for run as sold. Ending the addon never cancels access somebody has already bought.

Moving up to Growth while you have it

Growth includes passes, so the addon is removed for you as part of the same change, and the time you had not used yet is credited against the upgrade. You are never charged twice for passes.

Example: Starter plus addon, moving to Growth

You are on Starter monthly ($39) plus the addon ($19), billed on the 1st. On 15 September you move up to Growth ($89), with 16 of 30 days left.

Growth for the days left$89 × 16/30 = $47.47
Credit for unused Starter− $39 × 16/30 = $20.80
Credit for unused addon− $19 × 16/30 = $10.13
Charged today$16.54
Your invoice on 1 October$89.00 — no addon line

Passes keep working the whole time. They simply come from your plan now instead of the addon.

Moving down from Growth while selling passes

Going from Growth to Starter or Free while you have pass plans would take passes away, so Subscriby blocks it — and offers the addon as the way through. The notice you see carries a Keep Time-Limited Passes button that moves you down with the addon already attached, in one step.

The addon starts at the end of your current billing period, at the same moment the cheaper plan does. Growth still includes passes until then, so there is never a point where you are paying for both.

What happens to your pass plans when the addon ends

Nothing is deleted, and nothing your customers bought is cancelled.

Add the addon again — or move to Growth — and everything unlocks with your plans exactly as you left them.
